HYDROFILM is a new generation of plastic film with very specific technical, physical and mechanical characteristics much better than those of PE and PP. But above all, it is characterised by its watersolubility and biodegradability.
HYDROFILM is watersoluble above a specific temperature (W.S.T. - Water Solubility Temperature). The WST characteristic can be varied according to the specific application. The material is completely inert, if it comes in contact with traditional solvents (benzines, toluenes, nitrosolvents, oils, greases & thinners). It is impermeable to gases, vapours and odours with a barrier effect higher than that of EVA.
Hydrofilm must be stored in a dry ventilated area at temperatures between 5 to 30C with humidity between 20% to 70%. Hydrofilm must be used within 6 months from delivery as the oxidation process of PVOH can cause a whitish colouring of the film, however the solubility characteristics will not be affected.
