Product Recall: 12oz ByoCups manufactured before 2015

BioPak is recalling 12oz ByoCups manufactured before 2015 and sold between February 2013 and April 2018. In extreme circumstances, the bottom of the coffee cup may detach. If this occurs while the cup contains hot coffee/liquid, there is a risk of injury to the user. We take this very seriously, and are working with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission and New Zealand's Trading Standards on this voluntary recall.

BioPak has initiated a product recall with respect to the 12oz ByoCups manufactured before 2015 and sold between February 2013 and April 2018 and is currently liaising with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) and Trading Standards in New Zealand regarding the matter.

As part of our ongoing product improvements, we redesigned our ByoCup range in 2015 and our new design has been tested and confirmed to not have this defect. No other cup sizes are affected. You and your customers should return any affected products to BioPak for a replacement immediately.
