Our cup production facility is in Taiwan, established in 1994 and is the third largest in the world outside the USA. Our facility utilises the most advanced and environmentally friendly production equipment and was a pioneer in the development of cups and lids made using Ingeo PLA bioplastic. All cup production equipment at the facility is manufactured and supplied by US based Paper Machinery Corporation. The machines produce containers at speeds up to 300 CPM. This unprecedented speed delivers greater efficiency and reduced production costs. Production capacity: 280 million cups per month. We use Offset UV Komori Lithorone printers that print in 5 or 6 colours at approx 110M speed which can product approx. 2,600 12oz cups/minute. We only use soy, water-based inks.
Our clear cups and bowls production facility is in Taiwan, and is one of the largest bioplastic container manufacturers in the world, with a monthly production output of more than 3,000 tons. The company was founded in 1973 and was one of the first companies to produce PLA bioplastic cups. All production lines utilise modern German forming equipment, Dutch printing and Belgian trimming and engraving machinery. We use a clear container thermoforming machine RD53. The facilities is vertically integrated and manages all conversion processes from raw material extrucsion into sheets, vacuum forming and printing. LED lamps provide up to 70% of lighting and this coupled with the most energy efficient air compressor and real time energy monitoring provides the facility with an energy efficiency rate above 23%.
